I'm a bit late to the Hunger Games band wagon. But-dang!-what a band wagon!Katniss is such a boss! If you haven't seen the trailor yet, go see it on YouTube. This movie will be epic. I haven't liked a book or a heroine so much since "The Girl with a Dragon Tattoo" and I'm not even sure Salander could take on the Games.
Now, back to Katniss, I love her so much as heroine. I have only read the first book but I already have a huge girl crush on her.
She's an amazing creation because for being a teenage girl, she is utterly selfless and determined. Despite the fact that Peeta is obviously in love with her, she only focuses on her mission to get out of the games and back home to her family. Honestly, how many girls do you know who would do that? I'm drawing a blank.
This is going to be one the best series in the coming years. They better have picked good actors because if this goes down the shoot tube like Twilight I will be very pissed off.
Don't worry, I do reviews for books that don't have movies made of them, just give me a few weeks.
